Theresa Garrett, Program Director  theresa@carrollskitchen.org As an AmeriCorps alum and hospitality and finance double major graduate of NC Central, a historically black university in Durham, North Carolina, Theresa understands the power of inspiring change through food and business. Theresa's passion is working with women to achieve their goals, a focus she lives out every day as the program director for Carroll's Kitchen. When the Buffalo, NY native isn’t speaking at community events or interviewing potential job training team members, she enjoys watching Korean television shows, cooking, and listening to music.

Nina Sigarto, Martin Street General Manager nina@carrollskitchen.org Nina’s role as our general manager is decades in the making. As a teenager in Hollywood, Florida she took a position at a pizza restaurant then owned by Carroll’s Kitchen co-founder Vicky Ismail. Nina eventually bought that restaurant and made it her own through her passion for making people happy through food - a passion she turned into a mission when she joined the Carroll’s Kitchen team. Nina recently relocated to the Raleigh area, where she enjoys playing basketball, pool, and her dog Jackson.

With more than five years in the restaurant industry and a Wake Tech culinary + pastry arts degree under her belt, Liz knows her way around a kitchen - as every Carroll’s Kitchen customer can tell you! Liz is passionate about teaching and helping others, making her role at Carroll’s Kitchen a perfect fit. When she’s not making kolache dough or creating amazing specials, Liz enjoys playing the ukelele, hanging out with her daughter, or crafting her heart out.
